Over forty years ago, Patrick undertook the idea of conflating Stephanie’s story with that of Norman’s, as documented on this page titled A Romeo and Juliet Story. You’ve read elsewhere how Stephanie was forced to give up her only child (Tim), while Norman had no desire to be involved with his daughter (Bonnie). It appears that Patrick’s intent was to combine these two separate tales into one. If there were more notes, I don’t know where they are now.
