Trying to imagine what it must have felt like to receive letters, from an absent father, in which he talks about all his friends and accomplishments, or yet to be realized accomplishments…. I imagine it to be both exciting and disappointing at the same time.
But then, of course, I always think of your feelings first and foremost….
