I was sorry to hear your sad news. We rented a place from your father & stayed in Deya over Easter around seven or eight years ago – it was sometime after he’d retired from being director of the festival. We found him charming, kind & generous and so interesting to talk to. I am also a musician. It was my first time to Majorca and we loved Deja, the lemon groves and little bay close to the house and the great walking around the village and down the coast. It was always somewhere I wanted to return to.
My thoughts are with you, your sisters and the rest of the family. Losing a parent is heartbreaking.
