Please accept my sincerest condolences on the loss of your dear father, Patrick Meadows. I will always appreciate his efforts to establish and run the Deia Festival, in which my “Wind Quintet” has been premiered thanks to him.
We never met in person with your late father and I don’t remember how we were in touch via internet. But I remember that he asked a piece of mine to be played in Dea Festival. So I send him my Wind Quintet and Image Ensemble played it very well.
Two years ago, during a visit at Mallorca with my family, I tried to met you father. But one of the members of Image Ensemble told me that, he was left the direction of the Festival, and returned to home.
With a deep sorrow I learned the sad news by the e-mail that you send me. Please accept my deep sympathy condolences
