Jeff A recently found these three paintings on e-Bay and reached out to me through the comments section of the Brian McMinn posting. He wrote, “They were listed as “mystery artist” and in my research I concluded they are by Brian — I hope I’m right. Your post and the obituary by Charles Darwent are about all I could find on the internet. But it was enough to pique my interest and encourage my purchase.”
From my untrained eye, they do seem to be Brian’s work, albeit more minimalist than the one I have.
I wonder if Miranda or Lew have any insights to offer.
The third one really rings true. Even though I’m a loner, the joy reflected in their shared dance resonates with me. Note the shadows suggesting small leaps of happiness above the sand.

Yes, it is certainly nice to have conformation that they are by Brian and to know he was in London at the time.

I recently bought a Brian McMinn painting which is huge (130x152cm). Abstract with earthly hues. Pity there is so little information about him and his works. I would love to know more about him and the painting – even its title. You can see it as the first picture on the site below.
